Which Pokémon is the best to choose as a buddy and walk with for extra candy? Here’s the list!

Just like Ash chose Pikachu, Pokémon Go gives you the ability to choose Buddy Pokémon to take with you on your adventures. Sadly, the Buddy Pokémon doesn’t appear on the map with you when you walk around — at least not yet! — but it does appear with you on the avatar button and on your player screen.

When you walk with your Buddy you get candy that you can use to evolve it, power it up, or both. Walk a Larvitar, get candy you can use to evolve Pupitar and Tyranitar, and power up Tyranitar. Walk Chansey, get candy you can use to evolve and power up Blissey.

You can get a lot more candy from hatching an egg or catching a Pokémon in the wild than you can walking a Pokémon, of course. But you never know when you’ll catch or hatch a specific Pokémon,and some Pokémon can’t be hatched from eggs at all.

Windows 10-powered alcatel Idol 4S drops to under $400

The alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 and VR launched in the US as a T-Mobile exclusive, but that changed in January this year when Microsoft started selling the unlocked variant.

The software giant still has the device listed at $470, but you can get a better deal from Amazon, which is currently offering the phone for $399.99.

Just to remind you, if you opt for the T-Mobile variant, you’ll just have to pay $288 – this seems to be permanent price cut.

After the Galaxy S5 Neo, Samsung has started pushing the latest security update to some other Galaxy devices as well. The list includes the Galaxy A7 (2017), Grand Prime Plus, and Tab A 10.1 (2016).

The March security patch for these devices arrives as build number A720FXXU1AQC2, G532FXWU1AQB5, and T585XXU2AQC1, respectively. Nothing else is said to be included in the update.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to cost $600 in the US, Best Buy listing reveals

This year’s MWC wasn’t all that exciting for Samsung. The South Korean behemoth delayed the introduction of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, but announced something else some people were waiting for – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tablet.

The Tab S3 features Samsung’s signature Super AMOLED display, and a new and improved S Pen. In Europe, the tablet will cost €679 for the Wi-Fi version and €769 for the LTE-connected one. But up until now, we didn’t know what the price would be in the US.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will cost $600 in the United States. This information comes from retailer Best Buy, which has the Wi-Fi-only model listed on its website.

The tablet isn’t available for purchase yet, and the listing doesn’t reveal an exact launch date – it just says “coming soon.”

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is available to pre-order in Germany, where the Wi-Fi-only model carries €679 price tag, while the LTE model costs €769. Pre-orders are also up in Canada, where the tablet (Wi-Fi model) costs CAD 799.99 (around $595). Shipments in both countries begin March 24…

Verizon gets sued by New York City: The carrier failed to provide broadband service to 1 million households

Verizon, one of the largest wireless carriers in the US, is getting sued by the city of New York. The city’s adminstration is accusing Big Red of failing to live up to a contract from 2008 which required the telecom to make its high-speed FiOS broadband service available to all households within the Big Apple by mid-2014.

LG Fortune launched with quad-core CPU, 5-inch display

LG has launched a new smartphone in the US. Dubbed Fortune, it’s an entry-level device that’s powered by a quad-core 1.1GHz processor, and sports a 5″ FWVGA display. It comes with 16GB storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB.

The camera department is handled by a 5MP/5MP combo. Measuring 144.8×72.4×7.9mm, the handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs in a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and microUSB.

The Fortune is available for purchase from Cricket Wireless, which has it listed for $89.99.

Sony Xperia XZs goes up for pre-order in Europe, free speaker included as well

The Sony Xperia XZs, which was unveiled at this year’s MWC along side the Xperia XZ Premium, is now up for pre-order in Europe. Specifically, the Netherlands-based retailer Belsimpel has the device listed on its website, and is offering it for €649.

Those pre-ordering the phone before April 2 will also get a free Sony SRS-XB30 speaker (worth €169). In case you aren’t aware, the Xperia XZs will officially only be available in three European countries, including Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
