New teaser confirms December 20 unveiling for ZUK Edge

Тhe Lenovo ZUK Edge was all set to be made official on December 7, but as we all know, that didn’t happen. Now, the company has released another teaser that confirms that the phone will go official on December 20.

From what we’ve gathered so far, the device is powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset and sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display. It has 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.

The ZUK Edge is supposed to feature a 13MP rear unit and an 8MP front shooter. The phone runs Android Nougat out of the box, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery.

For the longest time the Nokia Lumia 520 was the most popular Windows Phone handset out there, so it’s very strange to see it running Android. And not just any Android either, the latest 7.1 Nougat!

XDA dev thinhx2 got CyanogenMod 14.1 to boot on the veteran smartphone and while it works, it’s unstable and far from ready to be a daily driver. This Galaxy A7 is expected to be the leader of the 2017 A-crop, and it shows in the rumored specs chosen for the handset. From what has leaked so far, we’ve heard that the new A7 will sport a 5.7″ 1080p Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7880, and have 3 GB RAM, as well as 32 GB/64 GB storage plus memory card slot for its expansion. LeEco LEX622 spotted on Geekbench with Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM

A new LeEco phone has been spotted in benchmark listings. Listed on Geekbench, the LEX622 is powered by Mediatek’s Helio X20 chipset with deca-core processor and 3GB of RAM.

The listing also reveals that the LEX622 runs Android Marshmallow version 6.0. No other key specs are revealed and we are still in the dark regarding availability/pricing. Needless to say, we’ll keep you updated as and when we hear more about the device.


Apple releases macOS 10.12.2 update

Apple has released the macOS 10.12.2 update for all compatible Macs. The update can be downloaded from the Mac App Store app on your computer.

One of the changes in the update is to the emoji. Apple introduced 100 new emoji in this update, same as on the iOS 10.2 update, which conform to the Unicode 9.0 standard. Apple also redesigned several of the existing emoji, giving them a fresh coat of paint.

Another feature is the ability to take screenshots of the Touch Bar on the latest MacBook Pro models, using the Command-Shift-6 shortcut.
